Each class is designed to build upon the skills learned each
week. Students may provide the surface of their choice for the projects. Stroke work
basics, teddy bear, stroke flower, butterflies and stroke roses with ribbon and leaves.
For "Beyond Beginners" classes, I will provide the classroom acrylic paints
and water tanks. You will need to bring brushes, acrylic disposable palette and paper
towels. If I have painted on a particular piece that you like, I will get them for you as
long as they are still available. But you may always paint your project on anything you
wish. You do not have to purchase the project piece from me.
Class fees for "Beyond Beginners" are paid on a 4 week basis of $60.00
payable the week before the first week of each session. Each class session meets for 2 ½
hours. If you miss a class during a 4 week period, I will try to catch you up on the
project. If you cannot join a class for the first session, you can join at any time later.
Classes are held in my home studio. There is a limit of 14 students per class.
Decorative painting is a positive, rewarding avocation. But in addition to that, you
will make new friends in a fun, enjoyable class. Even if a particular painting is intense,
you will find the night or day class relaxing. I hope that you will be able to join us. If
